My new friend Vasco

Today the people of the village were having trouble with houses, there was a giant wind which made all of our houses fall to the ground.

Me and one other person named Manmohan were sent to go out in the forest and get wood and supplies for building new houses. Manmohan and I were at in the forest for no more then 5 minutes when he ran back to the village beacause he heard a noise. I went in farther to see what was making the noises. It was a man, he was with two children and it looked like they were building small houses.

 Seeing a grown man and two children who didn’t look any older than ten years build small houses got me thinking, if these three people can build small houses in two or three hours, imagine what they and the whole tribe could accomplish when working together.

I noticed that the man was taking very good care of the children, so he probably would not want anything to happen to them. So I waited until they started to leave and one of the children walked behind the man. When they left I quickly snuck up behind them, snatched one of the boys, and ran for my life back to the village hoping that the man would follow me.

My plan worked. The man started to run after me with his other little boy in his arm. I managed to make it to the village without getting caught. When the man finaly caught up to me, he drew his sword and held it to my throught. I creamed “please stop!, you may have your child back but just here me out”. I have taken your child so I could lure you to my village and ask you a favor”. He took his boy from me and asked what the favor was. I told him we needed him to help us build houses. He didn’t look like ho wanted to but he still agreed to do it.

I wonder why he said he would help us without questioning me about getting paid or anything like that. Oh well at least we’re getting our homes back.
